Remember when you were a little kid and you were forced to go on those family vacations? It seemed as if your parents deliberately picked the most boring places to go, and made you stay there for two weeks at a time. Oh, the boredom was sometimes punctuated by something exciting, like, well, a car show.
One of the old guys at the car show wore embarrassingly short shorts, which showed off the effects of his varicose vein treatment. There his veins were for all the world to see, puffy and reddened. He didn't care if people stared. Heck, they were supposed to be looking at the cars, not him!

How fascinating. You slowly walked away from him and his car – your parents kept talking to him. You sure hoped that when you got old you wouldn't get varicose veins.
